מאחלים איחולים של בריאות, שמחה והצלחה לכבוד השנה החדשה! 

כוסית לחיים לכבוד השנה החדשה בפקולטה

ב- 30 באוגוסט 2021 התכנסו הצוותים האקדמיים, הקליניים והמנהליים כאחד - באופן פרונטלי ובאמצעות זום - לברך בשנה היהודית החדשה, תשפ"ב. הדיקן, פרופ' קארל סקורצקי, פנה לקהל עם דבר תורה ובשיר נוגע ללב שכתב עמיתו המשורר, נתן כתבן ז"ל.

במפגש הוצגו גם החברים החדשים ב"משפחת" הפקולטה לרפואה ע"ש עזריאלי הבאים:

בנוסף, חברי הצוות הבא קיבלו תעודות הוקרה על עבודתם הקשה והמסורה בשנה האחרונה:

עדכוני סטודנטים

פרופ' ג'וני יונס משתף בכמה עדכוני סטודנטים לשנת הלימודים הקרובה:

  • לאחר שלמד מניסיון מעשי, ובעקבות הצלחת חוויית הלמידה המקוונת אשר נוצרה מפאת הקורונה, יוצעו מעתה קורסי מבוא ברפואת ילדים, מיילדות וגניקולוגיה, כירורגיה ופסיכיאטריה. הקורסים יוצעו בפלטפורמה מקוונת ובסמיכות למועד תחילת הסבבים הקליניים של הסטודנטים בתחומים אלה.
  • אנו ממשיכים לחפש תחומים קליניים והוספנו לאחרונה את מחלקת הכירורגיה בבית החולים למשפחה קדושה (האיטלקי) בנצרת לאלה המציעים השכלה קלינית לסטודנטים לרפואה שלנו.

קורס חדש: יסודות בפיתוח תרופות

הפקולטה ע"ש עזריאלי, בשיתוף עם טבע תעשיות פרמצבטיות בע"מ, תציע קורס חדש לתואר שני. הקורס באורך סמסטר יכלול מרצים אורחים ומטרתו לכסות את היסודות של גילוי ופיתוח תרופות. למידע נוסף נא לפנות לרכז הקורס ד"ר ניר קוויט.

סדנת FL2F

אחוז הנשים ברחבי העולם המחזיקות בפטנטים הוא בספרות בודדות.FL2F

הקיץ אירחו אוניברסיטת בר-אילן והפקולטה לרפואה ע"ש עזריאלי סדנת "ממעבדה להגשמה" ("From Lab to Fulfillment”,FL2F), בחסות הרקטור, סגנית הנשיא למחקר, היחידה לשוויון מגדרי והפקולטה למדעי החיים.

ד"ר קרן אגאי-שי הסבירה כי בסדנה המקוונת בת שבועיים, שכללה מטלות שיעורי בית, למדו המשתתפות כיצד להפוך רעיון מדעי לפטנט, תהליך שונה מאוד מכתיבת עבודה אקדמית!

את הסדנא הובילה פרופ' אורלי ידיד-פכט והשתתפו בה חוקרות הפקולטה ע"ש עזריאלי ד"ר סיון שפיצר-שוחט, ד"ר קרן אגאי-שי, ד"ר לימור מעודד-דנון, ד"ר מיטל גל-תנעמי, ד"ר מירי בנטואיץ', ד"ר אורלי אבני, פרופ' אורנה ששון-לוי (המחלקה לסוציולוגיה ואנתרופולוגיה), פרופ' שולמית מיכאלי (סגנית הנשיא למחקר של אוניברסיטת בר-אילן), וכמובן פרופ' קרל סקורצקי.

כוכבי המחקר

מכון המחקר של המרכז הרפואי זיו, בהנחיית פרופ' מיכאל אדלשטיין, יזם פרויקט חדש לעידוד מחקר שנערך על ידי אנשי מקצוע בתחום התמחותם הרפואי. פרופ' אדלשטיין ציין כי יש תיאבון למחקר, אך היו קיימים מעט כלים המיועדים להעביר את הרעיונות לפרויקט ולבסוף גם ליישום קליני. הפרויקט תחרותי ועבור המחזור הראשון שבעה רופאים, אחיות ומדעני מעבדה קיבלו תקציב צנוע לעבודה על פרויקטים מחקרים מודרכים. למשתתפים יוצעו הרצאות ויהיו להם מנוטרים שיסייעו להם במחקרם.

פרופ' אדלשטיין צופה כי בתוך ארבע שנים, זיו יוכל להתפאר בכ-30-40 עובדי בריאות המעורבים בפרויקטים משמעותיים, ולשפר את יכולת המחקר בצפון.

ברכות לפרופ' איתי און על קבלת מענק מחקר של קרן Ihel. המחקר, שיבוצע גם ע"י פרופ' ג'וני יונס, הוא על המבנה המרחבי של כרומטין בשחלות, והשפעתו על הזדקנות שחלות מוקדמת.
