The Students' Choice Awards: Appreciating the Teachers at Award Ceremony

Every year, the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine celebrates and honors the scientists, researchers, and doctors who teach at the Faculty.

This recognition is given to the scientists, researchers, and doctors who are responsible for the pre-clinical training, to the faculty who offer academic courses to the research students situated at campus laboratories, and also to the doctors who teach the students bedside, during the clinical studies phase of their training. Clinical teaching takes place in the hospitals affiliated to the faculty - Tzafon Medical Center in Poriya, Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, Ziv Medical Center in Safed, and the three hospitals in Nazareth - the Scottish, the French, and the Italian - and in community clinics all over the Galilee, clinics in the Northern and Western Galilee districts of Clalit Health Services and the northern district of Maccabi. In all of these locations, approximately 1000 lecturers are responsible for the teaching of our students.

Based on student course feedback, some 100 outstanding teachers were selected this year to receive special recognition certificates for excellence in teaching for academic year 2022-23.

Faculty management also awards certificates for outstanding courses and outstanding hospital departments.
