Curriculum

Research:

  • At the end of the first year of studies, the student will submit the research proposal. It will include preliminary results obtained this year, and establish the work plan. The student will then participate in an oral discussion regarding his proposal and the relevant research, in front of a two-member committee (monitoring committee) appointed by the Faculty committee for research students. Only after the research proposal has been approved by the monitoring committee, it will be forwarded to the university committee for research students, for approval.
  • The follow-up committee will accompany the student's progress during the period of his or her studies. The student must submit a periodic report approved by the supervisor (once a year). The follow-up committee will meet with the student and check the pace of his or her progress.
  • Upon completion of the research, the student will submit a summary report to the monitoring committee. After the approval of the committee, the student will be able to start writing the doctoral thesis.
