Incoming students (applicants) are encouraged to apply for Ilanot in parallel to Azrieli. If you know any applicants, please help us spread the word, so they don’t miss this excellent opportunity…

It’s Application, Interview, and Exam Season!

We wish the best of success to our current and future students, whether they are at the application phase, the interview stage, or elbow-deep in exams. Again, hat-tip to our team of energetic and supportive staff for making this season run smoothly.

  • The Azrieli Faculty of Medicine held a Zoom Open House on February 9, 2022. Thank you to Administrative Deputy to the Associate Dean of Medical Education, Sharon Mines, who led the event. The evening opened with a few words by the Dean, Prof. Karl Skorecki; the Associate Dean of Medical Education, Prof. Eric Shinwell; the Vice Dean of Pre-Clinical Studies, Prof. Daniel Glikman; and the head of the four-year track application committee, Prof. Itay Onn. The potential students then went to separate "rooms" to meet with current students for a Q&A session.
  • Bar-Ilan University held a two-day Zoom Open House on February 18 and 20, 2022. The Azrieli Faculty of Medicine held well-attended 2-hour sessions for prospective MD as well as graduate degree students. Thank you to the speakers Prof. Daniel Glikman, Vice Dean Pre-clinical Studies, and Prof. Meital Gal-Tanamy who heads the Graduate Degree Committee, as well as Prof. Omry Koren and Dr. Orly Avni who shared about their research. Hanni Rubin and Shlomit Nishri were online to answer questions, as were current students (Hana Abu Rabia  Samer Ayoub, Michael Gendler, Lihi Grinberg, Inna Naigertsik, Natalia Saleev), who kindly volunteered their time during this busy season.

The Bar-Ilan U. marketing department offered a very informative Zoom seminar on February 21, 2022 regarding the proper use of Twitter. It was attended by several Azrieli researchers.

The speakers stressed that as of the outbreak of Covid-19, Twitter has become more and more popular and influential – and our researchers are encouraged to make use of this important social media platform.
