Applications for Ilanot Still Being AcceptedIlanot

Applications for the Azrieli four-year MD track for AY 2022-23 will be accepted through February 13, 2022 at midnight.

However, applications for the new Ministry of Health Ilanot medical leadership program in the Galilee, will be accepted through the end of March 2022.

Incoming students (applicants) are encouraged to apply for Ilanot in parallel to Azrieli. Spread the word…

Prof. Michael Edelstein gave an intriguing lecture (as always!) on February 6, 2022, for the World Zionist Organization in France. The lecture was introduced by Bar-Ilan University International School representative Yael Toledano, who was herself in France at the time. A Q&A session followed.

GMC/Azrieli Faculty of Medicine Online Lecture: Future Trends in Adolescent and Pediatric Bariatric SurgeryAyzengart

On February 2, Alexander L. Ayzengart, MD, an assistant professor in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida gave a thought provoking online lecture to surgical faculty, surgical trainees and medical students from the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine. Attendees listening in from many of the clinical sites of the medical school heard about the significant clinical and public health impact of childhood obesity and the surgical options now available to fight it.

Dr. Ayzengart’s presentation is one of many lectures by eminent surgeons that have been delivered online on a wide range of surgical topics.
