Center for Public and Environmental Health

Public health is about understanding and evaluating factors that affect the health of populations, with the aim of improving public health and preventing disease. Among other things, this field includes epidemiology, disease prevention, public policy, and the relationship between health and the environment. The research center engages in high-level research in the fields of individual health, public and population health, environmental research and the interface between them, with the aim of positively influencing the health of the populations living in the Galilee, Israel and around the world.
