A Glimpse into Our "Aging" Course

You see people talking in a hotel, we see students in our unique "aging" course, interacting with their "patients."

Our students went to meet seniors from kibbutzim in the north, citizens who were evacuated to a hotel in Tiberias due to the current war. This is just part of what takes place in Dr. Amitai Oberman's pre-clinical course that makes students aware of the challenges in the health system regarding issues related to geriatrics. The goal is to turn them into doctors who will be more sensitive, more attentive and more aware of the challenges faced by members of the aging population in general, and those during wartime in particular, and to provide the knowledge and skills to optimize their treatment.
