Knowledge Examination

Applicants seeking testing accommodations for the Knowledge Examination must submit a request together with all required supporting documentation, as detailed below.

How to Submit a Request

• Requests should be sent to: merav.israel@biu.ac.il
• The subject line should read:

Request for Testing Accommodations - Knowledge Examination for Admission to the Three-Year Program

• The email should include:
  • Full name
  • ID number
  • Details of the requested accommodation

Important Information

• Eligible applicants will be granted appropriate accommodations.
• Decisions will be communicated by email.
• Decisions of the committee are final and cannot be appealed.
• Requests must be submitted no later than July 14, 2026.
• Requests submitted after the deadline or without all required documentation will not be considered.

Required Documentation by Request Type

Learning Disabilities

Please attach:

• A valid MATAL diagnostic evaluation.
• Evaluations conducted by private diagnosticians will not be accepted.

Medical Condition

Please attach:

• A Medical Confidentiality Waiver Form.
• Relevant medical documentation.
• Documentation from a physician within the public healthcare system describing the medical condition and its functional impact on examination performance.

Pregnancy

Please attach:

• Medical confirmation of pregnancy.

New Immigrants (Olim)

Applicants who have been residing in Israel for fewer than seven years at the time of the examination must provide:

• An Oleh Certificate.

Native Language Other Than Hebrew

This category applies to applicants who completed their Israeli matriculation examinations in Arabic or another language other than Hebrew, provided that they have not completed an academic degree in Hebrew in Israel.
