Selection Process
Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year closed on February 26, 2026.
Medicine is a demanding, people-centered profession that requires not only academic excellence but also strong interpersonal and professional qualities. As part of the admissions process, applicants are required to complete a personality assessment, which enables the Faculty of Medicine to identify candidates whose personal attributes align with the qualities considered essential for success in medical studies and, subsequently, in medical practice.
These personal characteristics are distinct from the cognitive abilities assessed through the Psychometric Entrance Test and matriculation (Bagrut) examinations. The Azrieli Faculty of Medicine at Bar-Ilan University believes that every applicant should have the opportunity to demonstrate their personal strengths, values, and suitability for the medical profession.
