The Next Generation of Medical and Health Researchers

At a festive ceremony held on June 30, 2026, at Bar-Ilan University, 20 graduates of the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine in the Galilee were awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Medical and Health Sciences.

The ceremony was attended by the Faculty Dean, Prof. Orly Avni, together with members of the academic staff, who gathered to celebrate the graduates’ achievement and mark the completion of one of academia’s most demanding and significant journeys.

The path to a PhD is long and challenging, requiring scientific excellence, advanced research skills, perseverance, creativity, and an enduring sense of curiosity. The research conducted by these graduates advances knowledge in medicine and health sciences and lays the foundation for discoveries and innovations that will shape the future of healthcare.
