Graduate Studies Open House

Last Friday, the Faculty of Medicine hosted a Graduate Studies Open Day in collaboration with Tel-Hai University. The event was designed to introduce prospective MSc and PhD students to the research and academic opportunities available at both institutions and provide them with a direct glimpse into the Faculty’s research environment.

Throughout the day, participants explored research posters presented by Faculty researchers, showcasing the wide range of scientific fields investigated in the laboratories — from basic research to studies with medical and translational implications. In addition, participants received information about graduate study tracks and academic opportunities at both institutions, as well as the advantages of pursuing advanced research in the Galilee.

The day continued with a tour of the Faculty, during which participants visited research laboratories and were introduced to the advanced equipment available to researchers and students. The tour allowed prospective students to experience firsthand the research infrastructure, academic atmosphere, and opportunities to become involved in active research already during their graduate studies.

The collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine and Tel-Hai University reflects a shared commitment to strengthening research and higher education in the Galilee and creating a rich, advanced, and accessible academic environment for outstanding students interested in developing research careers.
